Simple. I have created a one-of-a-kind opportunity for you to be involved in. By participating in Signature Corvette, Million Dollar Corvette, or Memorial Corvette, you can have your name or business logo appear on a Corvette that will be brought to car shows around the USA. After showing, the Corvette will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to charity. Please note that this site is not affiliated with Chevrolet in any way. Here are some more details on the cars:
Signature Corvette: Open to anyone that wants to participate*. The cost is only $10 per spot. 15,000 names will be displayed on the Signature Corvette.
Million Dollar Corvette: Open to businesses that wants to participate*. The cost is $100 per square inch. Up to 10,000 business names/logos will be displayed on the Million Dollar Corvette. Additionally, businesses will have a virtual business card displayed on the Million Dollar Corvette site for all to see. This is a great advertisement opportunity!
Memorial Corvette: Open to anyone with US military status or family and friends of those with military status*. Family and friends of those with military status are encouraged to reserve spots to honor those that serve. Only reservations by those or for those with military status are permitted. This is based on the honor system. The cost is only $10 per spot. 15,000 names will be displayed on the Memorial Corvette. The Memorial Corvette is being used to honor the men and women who serve or have served our country.
*All participants are subject to the Terms of Service. I refuse to print or display anything vulgar or obscene on these vehicles.

My name is Chris Turner. I am 28 years old and I live in Orlando, FL. I consider myself to be equal parts inventor, entrepreneur, and dreamer. I went to school for computer engineering and have been working for a large corporation writing software for several years. Although I love my job, I have very high aspirations to do other things in life. I have recently started working part time in an attempt to realize my dreams. If you are reading this and you have dreams of your own I strongly encourage you to pursue them! You only get one chance so don't let it slip by.

Everybody loves Corvettes! The Corvette is THE American Sportscar. The Corvette is quite an amazing work of engineering. With all that horsepower it still gets fairly good gas mileage. Also, I think many people dream of owning one someday... myself included. Even if you can't own one just yet, you can have your name printed on one to hold you over till then! :)

4. What will you do with the money?
First things first. I am a Christian, and I want to do good with any money I make. I plan to donate at least 10% to church. Also, you'll notice that the proceeds from the sale of the Corvettes go directly to charity. Once those good things are taken care of, there will still be a substancial amount left. I plan to use that money to finance my engineering endeavors. I would love to have a chance to enter some of the competitions that NASA is hosting. I am quite accomplished in r/c and robotics and I would like to put my skills to good use. I would also love to get into motivational speaking someday. Okay, and If I wanted to treat myself I think it would be totally great to have a personal chef! I don't have a lot of time to cook for myself and it would be nice to have someone to prepare some healthy meals. Frozen food gets old... trust me. :)

5. Can I pick a specific spot on the car?
Unfortunatly not. I don't want to offer anything that I can't give. Due to the large number of names or logos that will be on the corvette it would not be feasible for me to give an exact location. I considered providing a choice based on general location like "the left door", but decided it would be better to randomly assign locations as needed. On the Million Dollar Corvette, priority for the hood and doors will go to businesses that buy the largest amount of space.

6. What car shows will you be at?
This hasn't yet been determined. This will depend upon when the cars are "sold out". My plan is to bring each Corvette to at least 3 car shows that are distributed around the US. I will target the largest shows possible based on the time of year that each car is completed. I will keep the blog up to date with progress, so please check there. I hope to get a chance to meet each and every participant!

7. When will the cars be finished?
This depends upon when the cars are "sold out". Again, please check the blog page frequently to keep up to date with the status of the cars.
-
8. How will the cars be auctioned?
I have considered a couple different options. One option is eBay, and another is the Barrett Jackson car auctions. Both of these have high potential. The goal is to auction the cars at a venue that will provide an opportunity to bring the highest price for the designated charity.
-
9. What happens to the cars after they are auctioned?
This depends on who buys the Corvette at auction. My hope is that the cars are purchased by a museum and put on display for the world to see.
-
10. Do you have the corvettes? When will you buy the corvettes?
The corvettes have not yet been purchased. Brand new corvettes will be purchased once enough spots are reserved to pay for them. The corvettes will be displayed prior to being "sold out" as a way to help promote this site.
